Project title: MARAP is a comprehensive risk management model based on artificial intelligence-supported Geographic Information Systems (GIS) that systematically identifies natural and technological disaster risks in the Marmara Region and offers integrated solutions to mitigate these risks. The project dynamically models regional hazard profiles by analyzing disaster risk components in line with spatial and temporal variables using scientific data. In this context, the MARAP project not only assesses current risks but also anticipates future scenarios, providing decision-makers with a strategic roadmap. It aims to increase regional resilience through a data-driven and proactive approach in disaster management processes. Within the scope of MARAP, dynamic disaster risk maps/plans for the region will be created using GIS-based spatial analyses, disaster modeling techniques, AI-supported prediction systems, and risk assessment methodologies.
